Dinnissen opens new branch in Belgium
Dinnissen has opened a new branch in Melle, near Ghent. With this expansion, we strengthen our international presence and move closer to customers in Belgium and Northern France. Daily operations are led by Stefaan Cottenie, who has been appointed Operations Director Belgium.
Local presence for Belgian customers
The world population is growing, and so is the demand for food. At the same time, quality requirements are increasing, which aligns with our mission. For a reliable global food supply, the world depends on producers of food, feed, aquafeed, and pet food. Dinnissen sees it as its responsibility to do everything possible to ensure continuity for them.
In Belgium, there are many potential customers who do not yet know us, while they are often surprised that Dinnissen is “just around the corner.” The choice for Belgium is therefore driven by the growing demand for advanced process solutions in the food and chemical industries. With its central location in Melle, Dinnissen is easily accessible to customers in Belgium and Northern France.
Focus on food and chemicals
The Belgian branch focuses mainly on food and chemicals, sectors with strict requirements for quality and safety. In addition, Dinnissen also serves the feed and pet food markets. The company sets itself apart by handling everything in-house, from sheet metal processing to the construction of complete systems, including engineering, software, and electrical work. Customers who visit the production facilities in Sevenum are often immediately convinced of the quality and extensive manufacturing capabilities.

New D-Innocenter for R&D and FAT with product
With the upcoming opening of the D-Innocenter in Sevenum, both machines and complete systems can be tested. “We work closely with the test lab. This way, we provide our customers with solutions that are demonstrably reliable,” emphasizes Stefaan.
The D-Innocenter also makes it possible to set up a complete installation and even test it with product. With this approach, the entire system can be adjusted during FAT, which makes on-site commissioning significantly faster.
International cooperation
The Belgian branch is directly connected to the expertise of other locations, ensuring that customers worldwide can rely on support across all disciplines. The combination of local presence and global expertise guarantees that customers always receive the same high standard.
“Dinnissen supplies machines and systems that, if needed, are tailor-made. To do that well, you often have to be on-site with the customer to think along with them,” says Stefaan. “I don’t see my role as selling. It is about working together with customers and supporting them in finding the right solution. It is about building long-term partnerships.”
Close to the customer, anywhere in the world
With the opening of the Belgian branch, Dinnissen takes another step in strengthening its international presence. Following new locations in New Zealand and the United Kingdom last year, the company continues to expand a network that provides customers with local support. “Internationalization is not a goal in itself for us, but a way to be closer to our customers’ needs,” says Managing Director Wouter Kuijpers.

Dinnissen invests in local service and in knowledge sharing between its different branches, ensuring that every solution delivers the same level of quality. “I am proud of the growth we are achieving and look forward to what the coming years will bring,” says Kuijpers. “We will continue to improve and innovate with determination, so we can deliver value to our customers worldwide.”
