What is the difference between a continuous mixer and a batch mixer?

A continuous mixer provides a continuous mixing process. It is then required that the supply of products is also constant. This form of mixing is ideal in a continuous production process. It is less suitable for frequent changes of recipe. Every start, stop or change of recipe deviates from the desired product. A batch mixer functions as the name implies in batches. Charges are used that are processed one after the other. This is suitable for frequent changes of recipe.
