Can I heat while mixing?

Heating in a mixer is possible. There are a number of things that must be taken into account here. Mixing takes energy. Depending on the product properties, this injected energy will be converted into friction. This friction can, in part, effectively contribute to the temperature increase. There are several reasons for heating mixers. Heating fats added to powder mixtures can increase liquid uptake and / or reduce product stickiness. Heating during mixing is possible in several ways. This can be done by heating the walls of the mixer or by feeding warm air into the product. It is also possible to inject steam into the mixer.
